Stockholm International Music Competition (SIMC) is a contest for children and adults who are passionate about classical music. The competition started in 2010 and since that time has become popular among young musicians from around the world..The new generation of young musicians need an international forum where you can meet like-minded, get confirmation, encouragement and motivation. In connection with the competition, several master classes and conferences are organized where music teachers can meet and exchange thoughts and experiences. The jury consists of prominent professors and educators from Sweden, the United States, Germany, Belgium, Russia, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Norway, Finland, Georgia. The competition is organized by the Cultural Association Semibrevis in collaboration with the National Unity Musicians (RUM), the Historical Museum, Southern Latins High School, the Maestro Academy, Adolf Fredriks Music Classes, Herzen University in St. Peterburg, the Long Island Conservatory in New York and many others.
